Electrical connections in cases where underwater cables are laid on the ocean bed require special cables that are able to withstand specific environmental conditions (fresh or salt water, external pressure) and well as mechanical stress during laying operations or while in service. The various types of armouring, guarantee operations for very deeplying cables with an external pressure measuring up to 20
bar. The type and quality of the material used for the outer sheath (polyethylene) also guarantee excellent UV-ray resistance. Suitable for working voltages of up to 0.6/1KV. Medium voltage versions upon request
