Description and Applications

Flexible electric cable, with rubber insulation and outer sheath, the first electric cable approved by WRAS according to BS 6920 suitable for permanent immersion in drinking water. The Drincable cables are NON TOXIC and WATERPROOF up to 600 m depth. The peculiarity and the uniqueness of the cable consist in the special compound of which the outer sheath is constituted: in fact the cable passed the microbial growth test according to BS 6920 sect. 2.4, the only standard following which the microbial non-pollution of the drinking water in which the cable is immersed can be ascertained and certified. Other tested and certified water parameters with a long run test, according to BS 6920: – taste and appearance (transparency, colour); – absence of metals and toxic substances; Electrical characteristics: according to HD 22.12.S1, BS 57919 e BS 6500. The Drincable cables are also available with ACS, the French sanitary approval. For operation of: submersed pumps for drinking water, operation and control equipment in an aquarium, fish-ponds, operation of control, depuration/ chlorination systems installed in water main and drinking water fountains, electrical installations in manufacturing, processing and preserving systems of drinks and foodstuff, swimming pool’s lighting, depuration and cleaning system.
